The great thing about modern street food restaurants is the range of food that is on offer. There really is something to please everyone and of course sharing all of the dishes ordered is half of the fun! Lantern by Nu sources many of their fresh ingredients locally in SA and some are sourced direct from Thailand giving the menu an authenticity of flavour, that in my opinion, is unmatched in our city. Set just off of a quieter section of Gouger Street, the restaurant has a ‘hidden’ laneway vibe that adds to the experience of dining there. The venue is divided into a range of zones - a more traditional dining room, an area of booths, a relaxed group seating area and also an 18 person function room if your group requires its own space. All of the spaces are intricately designed and really add to the appeal of the establishment.
